What do you do if you get Listeria while pregnant?
If you think you may have eaten a contaminated food while pregnant (such as a food recalled for the presence of Listeria), you should see a doctor immediately. A doctor may perform a test to see if you have the infection.
Is lunch meat really unsafe during pregnancy?
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) advises that pregnant women “avoid eating hot dogs, lunch meats, cold cuts, other deli meats (such as bologna), or fermented or dry sausages unless they are heated to an internal temperature of 165°F or until steaming hot just before serving.”
Can I eat a toasted sub while pregnant?
