Marc Boutavant’s fantastic illustrations that blend his European sensibilities with vintage styles and Kawaii have shown up in a number of great children’s books (notably For Just One Day, All Kinds of Families!, and Around the World with Mouk). Now, his Mouk character has been developed into animated shorts. So far it doesn’t look like it has jumped the pond… yet.
